Something Different This Way Comes

Summer Stevenson Sustainability Coordinator for the City of Thunder Bay

How the city works determines how we work in it; a million ton goal and 36 month count-down; engineering for unpredictable extremes; being Brene Brown about it; turtles live on this planet too; Thunder Bay can be a leader - we underestimate our power; the catch 22 of adaptation; seeing everything through a climate lens

Transcript

-Some concerns for Thunder Bay are very strong, like forest fire and infrastructure capacity to support folks seeking refuge when their communities are  experiencing Climate events.

-Our City can be a leader. I think we underestimate the power that we have.
